David A. Smith is co-owner of The Gatesworth Communities in Saint Louis, Missouri. Mr. Smith is also founder and CEO of One on One Service to Seniors, which specializes in creating customized marketing and management programs for the Senior Housing Industry. He is nationally recognized as a top senior housing sales teacher and trainer and is the Lead Instructor for the Sales and Marketing Curriculum at the Erickson School Executive MBA Program at the University of Maryland. He has written and published a variety of articles for industry publications and has held leadership positions in a number of key trade associations.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Lake Forest College, Mr. Smith is also a graduate of Washington University School of Law, and has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1976. He is also a licensed real estate broker.
